Itinerary

Day 1 - Delhi - Nainital

On arrival at Delhi airport/railway station, you will be picked up and driven to Nainital. Check in at the hotel and get some rest. Stroll around Nainital market during your leisure time and then return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 2 - Explore Nainital

After a sumptuous breakfast, go on to explore the hill retreat of Nainital. Visit Bhimtal Lake and Sattal Lake situated amid dense forests that offer beautiful scenic views. Naukuchia Tal is a beautiful 175 feet lake enveloped by lush greenery and offering activities like bird watching, paragliding, rowing, angling, fishing etc. Also explore the Snow point Mall road, Boating Club, Cable Car Ride and Thandi Sadak. Then return to your hotel and spend some leisurely time relaxing at the hotel or exploring other places of interest like Nainital Lake, Mukteshwar Temple and Tiffin Top (leisure activities are not included in the package).Overnight stay at hotel at Nainital.

 

Day 3 - Nainital - Corbett

Check out from the hotel after breakfast and travel to Corbett Park. Check in at the hotel, freshen up and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Then proceed to Jhula Pul (Jhula Pul is a bridge made of iron rods with suspension) and visit the Corbett Museum and Garjiya Temple (built in the name of Mata Garjiya Devi). Corbett Museum is the place where Jim Corbett stayed during winters and the museum houses his books like the Man Eating Tiger, Man Eating Tiger of Kumaon etc. The museum also exhibits his personal items like a gun, fishing net, cap, bag and some of his photographs with tigers.

 

Day 4 - Corbett - Almora

After a good breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Almora. Almora is a scenic hill station in the northern state of Uttarakhand. On arrival, check in at the hotel and spend the day at leisure. You may simply relax in your room or opt to visit Kasar Devi Temple, Zero Point, Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum, Bright End Corner, Mahamrityunjay Temple and Tarikhet (leisure activities are not included in the package). Then return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

 

 

Day 5 - Almora - Kausani

Arrive in Kausani on this day and check in at the hotel. In the noon, enjoy a lovely picnic near River Kosi and bask in the beauty of nature. The river flows from the Himalayan slopes and forms seven tributaries. After a wonderful day, spend the rest of the day at leisure in your rooms or go on to explore other places of interest such as Baijnath Temple, Sumitranandan pant gallery, Kausani Tea Estate and Sumitranandan pant gallery (leisure activities are not included in the package). Finally, rest the night away in Kausani.

 

Day 6 - Departure

You will be dropped at Delhi airport/railway station for your journey back home.
