Itinerary

 

Day 1 - Arrival in New Delhi

Transfer to the hotel after you arrive in Delhi and check in. Have a pleasant overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 2 - New Delhi - Haridwar

At around 4 in the morning, leave for Haridwar . Take a dip in the holy Ganges at Har ki Pauri once you reach Haridwar. Then pay a visit to the Mansa Devi Temple, after which you will drive to Rishikesh. Here you will visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula and few ashrams. In the evening, proceed to witness the Ganga aarti at Har ki Pauri (7 pm onwards). Return to the hotel and retire for the night.

 

Day 3 - Haridwar- New Delhi- Varanasi

After you have breakfast, leave for Delhi at around 8:00 am. Once in Delhi, set out for sightseeing the city. Visit the India Gate, the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Parliament House. Transfer to the New Delhi railway station well before time to board the train that leaves for Varanasi at 18:55 hours.

 

Day 4 - Varanasi

Transfer to the hotel in Varanasi after arrival and have a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Varanasi. Visit the Durga Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Tulasi Manas and the Birla Temple on the premises of the Banaras Hindu University. Visit the revered Kashi Viswanath Temple in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 5 - Varanasi - Bodhgaya

Early in the morning at around 6 am, you will head to the Ganga River to take a holy dip and perform rituals. After that you will proceed to Bodhgaya and proceed for sightseeing once you arrive here. Visit the Maha Bodhi Temple , the Bodhi Tree, the 80-foot tall Buddha statue, the Thai Temple, a Japanese Temple and a Chinese Temple. Call it a day and spend a comfortable night at the hotel in Bodhgaya.

 

Day 6 - Departure

Drive to Gaya in the morning after a healthy breakfast. Here you will visit the Mangla Gauri Shakthi Peeth and then the Vishnupad Temple. Drive back to the hotel for lunch and then head to the airport/railway station for departure.
