Itinerary

Day 01:  Delhi - Kasauli

Arrive Delhi Airport /Railway Station & Transfer by road to Kasauli (324 kms / 7 hrs), a gateway to the Himachal.Arrive & check in hill resort and Rest of the day at leisure. Night stay in Kasauli.

 

Day 02 : Kasauli - Shimla

Morning proceed to Shimla (110 kms / 2 hrs) a charming hill station, surrounded by the green pastures and snow capped hills. Later in the afternoon take a walking tour of Shimla, climb the Jakoo hills ,visit the temple of lord Hanuman ,Viceregal Lodge, which once served as the seat of power and enjoy some panoramic views of Shimla later take a stroll down the Mall Road. Night stay in Shimla

 

Day 03:  Shimla - Kufri - Chail - Shimla

Morning proceed for a full day excursion tour of Kufri & Chail, Kufri a popular ski resort in winters, which offers some stunning mountain views , Later drive to Chail and visit the Palace of former Maharaja of Patiyala. Return to the Hotel Evening free at leisure, Night stay in Shimla

 

Day 04:  Shimla - Manali

Early Morning transfer by road to Manali (285 kms/7 – 8 hrs), located in the ancient Kullu valley, surrounded by towering peaks at an arm length. Arrive and check in the hotel,Rest of the day is at leisure to visit the local markets, Night stay in Manali

 

Day 05:  Manali

Morning proceed to visit the Rohtang Pass (51 kms / 2 hrs) , the highest point in Manali at a height of 4,112 m, which simply offers panoramic view of mountains rising far above the clouds & which are simply breathtaking. Late afternoon return back to Manali & rest of the evening is at leisure, Night stay in Manali.

 

Day 06 : Manali

Morning proceed to Visit the 450 years old Hidimbadevi Temple, the oldest temple in Manali, Tibetean center & monastery, Vasisth village, known for its hot Sulpher springs. Rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and individual activities, Night stay in Manali.

 

Day 07: Manali - Dharamshala

Morning proceed by road to Dharamshala (280 kms / 6-7 hrs), magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains and the seat of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama, the leader of the Tibetans, since 1960. Arrive and check in to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure Night stay in Dharamshala

Day 08: Dharamshala

Morning proceed to visit the Baijnath temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Later visit the Tibetan monastery in Maclodganj (upper Dharamshala) a seat of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama. Rest of the day is at leisure or explore local Tibetan markets at the Maclodgunj, Night stay in Dharamshala

 

Day 09 : Dharamshala - Khajjiar

Early Morning check out from the Hotel & transfer by road to Khajjiar (220 kms/6 hrs) popularly known as the mini Swiss for its snow capped mountains and pine trees. Arrive & check in resort .Rest of the day is at leisure. Night stay in Khajjiar

 

Day 10: Khajjiar - Dalhousie

Morning check out from the Hotel & then proceed by road to Dalhousie (40 kms/ 1 hr) sprawled over five hills ranging from 1,600 – 2,400 meters offering breathtaking vies of the Dhaladhar mountain ranges. Rest of the day is at leisure to take leisurely walks on the mall road Night stay in Dalhousie

 

Day 11: Dalhousie

Morning proceed for a scenic walk to the Satdhara (seven springs) said to contain mica and medicinal properties (4 kms/1 hr) ,Martyr’s memorial at Panchpula (five bridges), Return back to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure Night stay in Dalhousie

 

Day 12: Dalhousie - Pathankot

Morning free at Leisure. Later Transfer to railway station / airport for your onward destination.
